Job Description

Experience: You qualify for the GS-13 grade level if you possess 1 year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level, performing duties such as: Overseeing the overall planning, direction, and timely execution of a program or several program segments Collaborating with heads of other CBP organizational elements to negotiate, decide on, and coordinate work changes affecting the assigned program segment Initiating and monitoring special studies to include analysis of workload, personnel utilization, administrative facilities, and organization operating requirements for the program segment Developing methods, internal controls, programs and procedures to improve cost-effectiveness, streamline organizational structures, and assures conformity with sound management principles Serving as liaison with high-ranking officials in other Federal agencies, top- level manager in the department, and various governing board/committees NOTE: Your resume must explicitly indicate how you meet this requirement, otherwise you will be found ineligible. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. You must: Meet all qualification requirements, including education if applicable to this position, subject to verification at any stage of the application process; and Meet all applicable Time in Grade requirements (current federal employees must have served 52 weeks at the next lower grade or equivalent grade band in the federal service) by 07/01/2025.
