**Overview** GovCIO is currently hiring for a remote Software Engineer III for the USPS TESS proposal. **Responsibilities** + Designs, modifies, develops, writes and implements software programming applications + Supports and/or installs software applications/operating systems + Participates in the testing process through test review and analysis, test witnessing and certification of software + Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures + Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals + Performs a variety of complicated tasks + May lead and direct the work of others + May report directly to a project lead or manager + A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected **Qualifications** + Bachelor's with 4+ years of software engineering experience (or commensurate experience) + Clearance Required: Ability to maintain a public trust clearance **Company Overview** GovCIO is a team of transformers--people who are passionate about transforming government IT. The total compensation package for this position may also include other compensation elements, to be discussed during the hiring process.
