With 4 DVMs on staff and 10 supporting individuals this practice situated on 15 acres in the heart of Palm City offers a wide range of services to cater to all types of clientele. The clinic primarily offers ambulatory services including lameness repro dentistry emergency care and general medicine. They offer 24/7 coverage for the horses in their area and pride themselves on remaining at the forefront of veterinary advances while providing exceptional customer service.
About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Veterinary Practice Manager who understands the rhythm and high standards of an equine-focused boutique clinic. The ideal candidate must have people and business management experience and be capable of handling all inventory ordering and billing for the practice. This person should also feel comfortable overseeing their outsourced Marketing efforts and bring a positive energy to all interactions. While this is not a customer-facing position the Practice Manager should be willing to fill in as needed with calls and clients in the event of a call-out on staff.

Key Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day operations of the practice to ensure efficiency and excellence in client care.
- Manage HR functions including onboarding scheduling performance reviews and team development.
- Monitor financial performance-budgeting profit and loss reporting and expense management.
- Support and guide staff to maintain a professional positive and collaborative workplace.
- Partner with leadership to streamline workflow improve processes and enhance client experience.

Job Requirements
- Strong equine background - you know the language and lifestyle of the horse world.
- Previous experience in a veterinary practice (equine preferred).
- Proven management experience in operations HR or business leadership.
- Exceptional attention to detail organization and communication skills.
- Customer service mindset - able to balance empathy with efficiency.
- Proficiency with business systems reporting and financial oversight.
Compensation & Benefits
Competitive salary: $65000-$70000 depending on experience.
