HVAC Installer Job Description

A heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) install technician will be working with a team to install residential and commercial heating and cooling systems.

HVAC Installer Duties & Responsibilities:

• Remove existing HVAC equipment safely and prepare area for new installation
• Work as a team to install HVAC and air quality systems
• Test system for proper operation
• Ensure compliance with equipment standards
• Comply with company standards, work instructions, and customers’ requirements
• Instruct customer how to properly operate HVAC system
• Treat customers and installation with respect and care as if it were your family and your home

HVAC Installer Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED
• Valid driver’s license
• Experience working as an HVAC installer or similar role is best
• Willing to learn and grow with the company and changing HVAC standards
• Ability to work in confined spaces as well as use of ladders
• Reliable and self-motivated
• Able to use ipad and learn field service software
• A strong work ethic and attention to detail are a must
• Must work well with others as you will be working in teams to complete installation projects

Pay: $19.00 - $25.00 per hour
