Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Lab Assistant Adjunct Instructor who is passionate about clinical laboratory science and eager to share their knowledge. If you have experience in laboratory safety, equipment management, and specialized lab testing, along with a desire to motivate and prepare students for entry-level roles, we'd love to hear from you! Ideally, you will also have teaching experience and a belief in putting students' success first.

Responsibilities:

Follow all policies and procedures, adhering to state and federal regulations and accreditation standards.
Assist in developing curriculum for the Lab Assistant program.
Support the recruitment, orientation, and training of faculty members.
Provide input on staffing decisions, including hiring, promotions, and disciplinary actions, to the Campus Dean.
Use independent judgment in guiding subject-specific areas under your supervision.
Organize and assist with student orientations and graduation ceremonies.
Coordinate and participate in Program Advisory Committee (PAC) meetings.
Monitor student attendance and retention, actively working to reduce attrition rates.
Stay informed on technological advancements in the field and incorporate relevant changes.
Supervise, guide, and regularly direct faculty and staff within the academic program.
Collaborate with the Campus Dean in achieving academic program objectives and positive student outcomes.
Teach courses as needed and travel as required for the role.
Perform other duties or special projects as assigned.
Maintain professional relationships with campus personnel and foster a positive environment.
Conduct yourself in a manner that reflects positively on the institution and contributes to a positive impression of the team.

Required Qualifications:

High School diploma or GED.
At least three (3) years of relevant practical work experience in the field.
