Job Description Authentic Provence and AP Mid Century Modern are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented individual to support our online sales platforms, gallery operations, and digital content workflows. Our clients include high-end interior designers, landscape architects, and trade professionals. The gallery operates by appointment only and specializes in luxury European garden antiques and mid-century modern design, catering exclusively to the trade and design community.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a balance of digital responsibilities, refined client interaction, and hands-on engagement with exceptional antique and mid-century pieces.

Job Requirements
Key Responsibilities
E-Commerce & Online Platforms
- Manage and update product listings on 1stdibs, including pricing, descriptions, measurements, keywords, and availability.
- Assist with maintaining two WordPress websites (Authentic Provence and AP Mid Century Modern), including uploading new products, updating categories, and ensuring accuracy across all listings.
- Conduct research to prepare accurate and compelling product descriptions, including stylistic periods, materials, provenance, and comparable pricing.
Inventory & Product Management
- Track, update, and maintain inventory accuracy across all platforms and internal systems.
- Photograph new arrivals and prepare images for web and social media use (light editing as needed).
- Assist with measuring, tagging, and organizing products within the gallery and warehouse.
Client Communication & Gallery Support
- Welcome and assist clients during private gallery appointments, primarily high-end designers and trade professionals.
- Support checkout, packaging, and the careful wrapping of smaller items when needed.
- Answer incoming calls, provide thoughtful assistance, and ensure exceptional customer service aligned with a luxury environment.
Content Creation & Social Media Support
- Assist with preparing content for Instagram, including product features, behind-the-scenes footage, and simple video clips.
- Coordinate with the marketing team to maintain consistency between the website, listings, and social media presence.
Qualifications - Experience with 1stdibs, luxury retail, or e-commerce product listings (preferred).
- Familiarity with WordPress or the ability to learn quickly.
- Strong written communication skills and exceptional attention to detail.
- Basic photography skills and comfort handling high-value antique and mid-century modern pieces.
- Professional, polite communication style with a strong customer-service mindset.
- Foreign language skills are a plus.
