Virtual Reality (VR) Attendant Location White Plains, NY :
5th Dimension VR, a provider of cutting-edge virtual reality experiences, is seeking a passionate and motivated Virtual Reality Attendant to join our dynamic team. You have to be 18 or older. As a VR Attendant, you will play a pivotal role in creating unforgettable VR experiences for our customers, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable journey through immersive digital worlds.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and engage with customers, providing exceptional service and promoting a welcoming atmosphere.
- Assist customers in setting up and operating VR equipment, ensuring proper fit and functionality.
- Work the point of sale (POS) system and check customers in
- Provide clear, concise instructions and demonstrations on using the VR systems and navigating various games and experiences.
- Monitor customer sessions, ensuring safe and responsible usage of equipment, and intervening when necessary.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues with VR equipment, escalating to management when appropriate.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the VR stations and surrounding areas.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest VR industry trends, games, and experiences, offering recommendations to customers based on their preferences.
- Help parties and events, including booking, setup, support, and clean up
- Communicate with clients via telephone or email to ensure events run smooth
- Performs special projects and other miscellaneous duties as assigned by management
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong commitment to punctuality.
- Previous experience in customer service, hospitality, or entertainment industries preferred.
- Basic understanding of VR technology and equipment, with a willingness to learn and adapt.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and evenings as required.
- Computer technical knowledge, a passion for games, and creative media skills are a great asset
