Position Overview We are seeking a dedicated and safety-conscious Utility Locator, someone who thrives working independently, demonstrates problem-solving abilities, and takes pride in delivering quality, precise work. Key Responsibilities Serve as a role model for professionalism, integrity, and accountability, fostering a positive and respectful work environment. Proactively identify and resolve jobsite challenges, showing strong problem-solving and decision-making skills under pressure. Support the company's mission by reinforcing a culture of ownership, community investment, and continuous improvement. Accurately locate, mark, and map underground utilities using industry-standard locating equipment. Follow strict safety protocols to ensure the safety of yourself, your team, and the community. Communicate effectively with customers, contractors, and team members to ensure clarity and excellent service. Investigate and resolve locate challenges in the field using creative problem-solving skills. Maintain detailed and accurate records of all field activities. Act as a brand ambassador, embodying our companies' values and reflecting our commitment to community investment and customer care. Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities. What We're Looking For A committed individual with a strong work ethic and desire to grow within a company. A self-starter who works well independently but also values team collaboration. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. 2+ years of Advanced GPR tech and/or Advanced Underground Utility experience is required. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and lift up to 75 lbs. High school diploma or equivalent required. Computer proficiency.
