Job Description

Job Purpose & Scope Responsible for providing leadership and portfolio management for the assigned market, including loan production, loan structure and expertise regarding GGL Standard Operating Procedures and Policy. Works with internal referrals from Bankers, participates in Division Sales meetings, and develops business for the portfolio. Essential Job Functions + Provides leadership for the assigned Community Bank Market(s). + Collaborates with Bankers in assigned market(s). + Actively participates in robust business development in the area of GGL Loans in assigned markets, generating expected level of loan production. + Participates in Community and Professional activities and organizations, as needed. + Provides backup and support for other markets, as needed or requested. + Drives an automobile on company business. + Regularly exercises discretion and judgment in the performance of the other essential job functions. + Maintains good punctuality and attendance to work. + Follows Bank policy, procedures and guidelines. + Performs any other related duties as assigned. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities + Knowledge of business development and loan production techniques and practices. + Comprehensive knowledge of Government Guaranteed Loan Programs. + Knowledge and understanding of Bank policies and regulations. + Demonstrated ability to manage a portfolio. + Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing. + Ability to develop new business. + Willingness and ability to participate in community and professional activities and organizations. + Ability to drive an automobile. + Ability to manage multiple priorities to meet deadlines. + Skill in using computer and Microsoft Office applications to perform job responsibilities. Basic Qualifications + Bachelor degree or commensurate work experience required. + Minimum of eight (8) years of work experience in GGL, SBA, or commercial lending required. + Minimum of eight (8) years of work experience in a leadership role in GGL, SBA, or commercial lending required. + Valid driver's license with good driving record.
