Job Description

Eastern Greene Schools is seeking dedicated and passionate substitute teachers for a long-term elementary teaching position at Eastern Greene Elementary School . These positions will provide coverage for a maternity leave in 3rd Grade during the fall/winter of 2025.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and developmentally appropriate instruction aligned with the classroom teacher’s lesson plans.
• Foster a positive and structured classroom environment that supports student learning.
• Implement classroom management strategies to maintain a productive learning space.
• Monitor student progress and provide academic support as needed.
• Communicate effectively with students, staff, and parents.
• Collaborate with school staff and follow school policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

• Valid Indiana teaching license preferred but not required.
• Experience working with elementary students is beneficial.
• Strong classroom management and instructional skills.
• Ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
• Enthusiasm for creating an engaging and supportive learning environment.
