Job Description

Cordia Resources is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Staff Accountant. The ideal candidate will be responsible for account reconciliations, journal entries, and supporting the month-end close process. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a solid understanding of accounting principles.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and post journal entries accurately and timely
• Perform monthly account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data
• Assist in the month-end and year-end close processes
• Support audits by providing documentation and explanations as needed
• Maintain compliance with internal controls and accounting policies
• Collaborate with team members across departments to resolve accounting issues

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
• CPA or CPA candidate required
• 1–3 years of public accounting experience required
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and accounting best practices
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Experience with NetSuite is a plus
• Strong organizational and communication skills
