Cyber Security Manager

At GDIT, people are our differentiator. As a Cyber Security Manager you will help ensure today is safe and tomorrow is smarter. We are seeking a Deputy Program Manager for our Federal Client SOC Program.

SCOPE OF ROLE:

• Acts as advisor to subordinates to meet schedules and/or resolve technical problems
• Develops and administers schedule and performance requirements; may have budget responsibilities
• Develops and implements strategic, technical, and operational security/infrastructure controls that are properly aligned with business or program goals and objectives
• Reviews and prioritizes needs and analyzes project costs and feasibility
• Maintains current knowledge of relevant technology
• Manages a medium to large team or department of multiple disciplines. Medium to High Complexity. Direct reports are typically exempt and often include other people managers.
• Support SOC program planning, execution, and reporting
• Monitor performance metrics and prepare reports for leadership
• Help ensure compliance with security policies and regulations
• Facilitate communication between teams and stakeholders
• Identify and implement process improvements
• Support training and development of SOC team
• Assist in vendor management and contract oversight

Requirements:

6 years of relevant job experience, including cyber security work, financial and administrative experience

2-3 years of cyber incident response experience

3 years previous leadership experience, preferably leading technical teams

Good communication skills, both oral and written

EDUCATION: BA/BS or equivalent

The likely salary range for this position is $136,000 - $184,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
