Job Description

Job Summary: As a Shipper Receiver at Copeland Toyota in Brockton, Massachusetts, you will play an important role in ensuring the efficient and timely movement of inventory and materials in and out of the dealership. This is a full-time, hourly position in the auto industry and will require you to work independently as an individual contributor. Responsibilities:

• Receive, inspect, and verify all incoming shipments, noting any discrepancies or damages
• Accurately and efficiently process and log incoming and outgoing shipments in the dealership's inventory system
• Prepare outgoing shipments by packaging, labeling, and ensuring proper documentation and shipping methods are used
• Maintain a clean and organized shipping and receiving area, including disposing of packing materials and keeping storage areas organized
• Communicate with suppliers and other dealership personnel to resolve any shipment or inventory discrepancies
• Regularly update inventory records and reconcile them with physical inventory levels
• Assist in general dealership duties such as parking and moving vehicles as needed

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Prior experience in shipping, receiving, or inventory management preferred
• Basic computer skills and the ability to learn and use dealership-specific inventory software
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to independently lift products and packages up to 50 pounds
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record
