Job Description

As a Senior Videographer, you will be responsible for filming, editing, and producing high-quality video content for various platforms. You will require expertise in camera operation, lighting, and post-production editing to create compelling visuals that align with the brand’s vision.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Filming & Production:

• Operate cameras, lighting, and audio equipment to capture high-quality footage;
• Plan and execute shoots, ensuring the right angles, lighting, and composition;
• Work on various video types, including commercials, interviews, events, and promotional content.

Photography & Visual Documentation:

• Receive briefs and take photographs of areas, buildings, company events, and other required subjects;
• Ensure high-quality, well-composed images that align with the company’s branding;
• Edit and enhance photos for use in marketing materials and digital platforms.

Editing & post-production:

• Edit raw footage into polished videos using software like Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve;
• Add music, graphics, effects, and animations to enhance video quality;
• Ensure smooth transitions, color correction, and high production value.

Pre-Production & Planning:

• Collaborate with clients, creative teams, and stakeholders to understand project requirements;
• Develop shot lists, scripts, and visual storyboards;
• Scout locations and prepare necessary equipment before shoots.

Equipment & Technical Expertise:

• Maintain and manage video production equipment (cameras, lenses, drones, stabilisers, lighting, etc.);
• Stay up to date with the latest trends in industry and video technology.

Content Strategy & Creativity:

• Ensure videos and images align with brand guidelines and storytelling objectives;
• Experiment with new video techniques to improve audience engagement;
• Adapt content for multiple platforms, including social media, YouTube, and websites.

Collaboration & Coordination:

• Work closely with directors, producers, and marketing teams to execute video projects;

• Manage timelines and ensure timely delivery of video and photography content;

• Handle feedback and revisions efficiently.

Requirements

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in film production, Media Studies, Communications, or a related field;
• Strong portfolio showcasing videography and photography work.

Experience

• 4-5 years of videography, photography, or video editing experience.
• Knowledge
• Proficiency in video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve);
• Knowledge of camera operation, lighting setups, and audio recording;
• Proficiency in photography and photo editing software (Adobe Lightroom, Photoshop).

Skills

• Strong understanding of composition, framing, and storytelling;
• Ability to ensure colour accuracy, sharp focus, and clean edits.
