This hybrid role in Houston is perfect for someone who loves variety, enjoys solving complex challenges, and is eager to grow alongside a team that partners with some of today’s most innovative companies. You’ll work directly with clients, lead financial processes, and learn from top-tier financial professionals — all while making a real impact.

What You’ll Do:

• Own and manage monthly financial close and reporting cycles for multiple clients

• Prepare, reconcile, and analyze monthly financial reporting packages

• Implement and integrate new accounting technologies

• Support budgeting and forecasting processes

• Serve as a liaison with external audit and tax firms

• Oversee accounting staff and provide final review of:

  • Monthly close

  • Accounts payable

  • Billing and accounts receivable

  • Bank reconciliations

  • Short-term cash forecasting

  • Monthly journal entries

• Perform ad hoc financial analysis to support client goals

What You’ll Bring:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance

• Minimum 4 years of hands-on accounting experience

• At least 2 years of management experience in an accounting environment

• Strong technical knowledge of GAAP and accounting principles

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Experience with ERP platforms like QuickBooks Online (QBO), Intacct, Sage, or NetSuite is a plus

• Team-first mindset with a positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and focus on high-impact activities

• Self-motivated, confident, and comfortable working independently or as part of a team

• Strong active listening and problem-solving abilities
