Job Title: Commercial Roofing Superintendent
FLSA Status: Exempt
Location: Florida (Longwood or Tampa area)
Salary: $60k+ (Range above depending on experience) + vehicle, benefits & bonus earning potential

Our client is an awarded (Platinum Contractor by Owens Corning and President's Club Award Master Select by GAF.), family‑owned commercial roofing leader that has proudly served Central Florida for over 30 years .

Position Overview:
The Superintendent is responsible for planning, coordinating, and supervising commercial roofing projects ranging in value from $500,000 to $2 million. This role ensures that projects are completed on schedule, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety. The Superintendent will lead crews and subcontractors, manage jobsite safety in accordance with OSHA regulations, and maintain effective communication with internal departments, clients, and inspectors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise all phases of commercial roofing projects from start to finish
• Assign work to crews and subcontractors, ensuring compliance with project specifications and deadlines
• Conduct regular inspections to monitor progress and quality, and to maintain safety standards
• Coordinate with internal teams to report deficiencies and submit change orders
• Verify subcontractor invoices and approve payment in accordance with purchase orders
• Maintain accurate daily reports and documentation of project status
• Schedule and coordinate punch-out work and material deliveries
• Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, contractors, and inspectors
• Attend project meetings and represent the company’s interests and standards
• Train, mentor, and evaluate performance of project staff
• Uphold company procedures and ensure workforce compliance with all applicable regulations

Qualifications:

• Ideally, 5+ years of experience in commercial roofing supervision experience. (Promising candidates with less experience are encouraged to apply)
• Proven knowledge of roofing systems, including TPO, torch down, coatings, metal, and drip edge systems
• Demonstrated leadership and communication skills with the ability to resolve issues effectively
• Strong understanding of safety protocols, particularly OSHA standards
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Ability to read and interpret construction documents and specifications

Preferred Experience:

• Experience managing commercial projects valued between $500K and $2M
• Direct oversight of subcontractors and labor teams on commercial roofing jobsites
