Job Description

Position Classification: Full-time; $18.84 hourly; benefits included

General Function:
Responsible for answering incoming calls, and responding to all voicemail and Service Center email messages. Greet internal and external customers in a manner consistent with Boys & Girls Clubs of the Crescent Region (BGCCR) policies, procedures, quality, standards, and customer needs.

Job Responsibilities:
•Answer incoming calls on a multi-line switchboard, direct calls to the proper extension or external number, and email messages as needed.
•Greet visitors and notify a staff member of visitors' presence.
•Assists members and staff by providing general information and directions.
•Keep reception desk and surrounding area clean and professional.
•Receive incoming light freight and notify the intended recipient.
•Assist with the design and distribution of recruitment emails.
•Assist MSR with accounts and enrollment services when needed.
•Type correspondence as needed.
•Sort Incoming mail and faxes and place them in staff boxes.
•Perform other duties as assigned.

Education:
A high school diploma or equivalent and experience with a multi-line switchboard; or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required. Associate's Degree or higher preferred.

•Display a professional demeanor and deal diplomatically with the general public.
•Ability to read and write in English and use arithmetic skills to complete daily assignments required accurately.
•Demonstrate strong typing/computer (Microsoft Office), written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills to effectively communicate with management, co-workers, and customers required (Spanish included).
•Ability to analyze and solve problems in a constantly changing and high-pressured work environment required.
•Ability to work with customers in difficult situations.
