Job Description

Lowder Sales is an independent manufacturing company in the plumbing industry. We have been family-owned since 1971 and working toward our 3rd generation of ownership! With that being said, we are looking to expand our team and bring on an Outside Sales/Territory Manager in Columbus, Ohio. This person would be essential to our sales operations, contributing to exceptional customer service and driving the company’s overall sales growth. What would be expected of you:

  • Establish and maintain strong client relationships by understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions that deliver meaningful value to their business. This includes participation in training sessions, marketing initiatives, and customer appreciation events.
  • Achieve and surpass sales targets by generating leads, cultivating client relationships, and successfully closing deals in alignment with our company’s sales objectives.
  • Engage with local industry associations and attend relevant events to connect with and maintain relationships with customers.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, competitor activities, and market changes to adapt strategies and purchasing decisions accordingly.
  • Provide consist of sales reports, forecasts, and updates on client interactions to ensure clear and effective communication with the team and company leadership. This includes maintaining comprehensive records of your accounts, sales calls, and activities within a CRM.
  • Collaborate effectively with internal teams, including marketing, customer support, and management, to ensure a unified approach to meeting client needs.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required, bachelor’s degree in related professional field preferred
  • At least 2 years’ experience in account management with a base understanding of building materials and construction requirements
  • Must be willing to participate in continued training and certification courses
