Pay Range: $22.00 - $31.00 per hour

The above reflects the anticipated hourly wage range for this position if hired to work in New Jersey.

The compensation offered to the candidate selected for the position will depend on several factors, including the candidate's educational background, skills and professional experience.

Job Overview:

The General Maintenance Trade Mechanic repairs and maintains machinery and mechanical equipment in accordance with diagrams, sketches, operation manuals, and manufacturer s specifications, using hand and power tools, and testing equipment. Meets requirements as defined by applicable Department Specific Equipment Competency Checklist.

Qualifications:

Required:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Minimum of 3 -year experience directly related to the heating, ventilation and air conditioning field, preferably within a large healthcare facility or equivalent.
• Must possess and maintain a valid N.J. State Driver s License.

Preferred:

• Vocational School graduate preferred.

Scheduling Requirements:

• Full-Time

Essential Functions:

• Is responsible for reporting identified safety issues such as hazardous environments (i.e. damaged floors/walls/ceiling tiles/unsecured areas) and medical errors, etc.
