  • Understanding of System z architecture

Job Description/ Responsibilities:
  • Extremely familiar with IBM z/OS operating system (OS 2.2, 2.3)
  • Knowledge on Parallel Sysplex concepts
  • Experience mainframe LPAR builds
  • Strong experience in zOS version upgrades
  • Installation of patches and fixes
  • Installation and maintenance of ISV products
  • System parameters/parmlib maintenance
  • Managing incidents on z/OS related issues
  • zOS MF configuration and setup
  • z/OS performance monitoring and reporting
