Lead laboratory operations at our new community hospital in Farmington, New Mexico ! This role combines technical expertise with leadership responsibilities, ensuring high-quality laboratory services while maintaining regulatory compliance and operational efficiency.

What You'll Do

• Direct daily laboratory operations, including staff scheduling and resource allocation
• Monitor workload across functional areas to maintain productivity
• Implement and maintain quality control standards
• Collaborate with physicians, laboratory staff, and the Medical Director
• Manage laboratory information systems and oversee equipment maintenance
• Lead staff recruitment, training, and development
• Ensure regulatory compliance and manage quality assurance programs
• Coordinate with pathologists on compliance and documentation

What You'll Need

• Associate’s degree in clinical laboratory science or related discipline
• Minimum 2 years management, supervisor, or team lead experience
• ASCP/AMT certification preferred
• Knowledge of laboratory regulatory requirements and compliance standards
• Understanding of infection control and laboratory safety protocols
• Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
• Experience with laboratory information systems
• Normal color vision required
