Responsibilities:
- Providing direct patient care to critically ill patients in the ICU.
- Assessing patients' conditions and administering medications as prescribed.
- Developing and implementing treatment plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
- Monitoring vital signs, administering treatments, and documenting patient progress.
- Collaborating with physicians, other nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
- Responding effectively to critical situations and patient emergencies.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records.
- Adhering to all hospital policies and procedures.
- Participating in continuing education and professional development activities.
- Performing other duties as assigned.
Required Skills & Certifications:
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York State.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- Minimum of two years of experience in a hospital setting (typically expected for ICU RN roles, though specifics may vary).
Preferred Skills & Certifications:
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification.
- Experience in a travel nursing capacity.
Special Considerations:
- This is a float position to the Medical Surgical unit as needed.
- Night shift (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM).
- COVID-19 vaccination is highly recommended but not required.

- Shift assignments may be determined based on unit needs and staffing levels.
