Job Description

At Chick-fil-A Ponce & Boulevard our Human Resources Assistant role is more than just work experience, it’s an opportunity to gain valuable, real-world skills in a professional business setting while contributing to a brand known for excellence, service, and leadership.

This entry level position provides hands-on training in HR processes, business operations, and team development, making it an ideal stepping-stone toward a successful career in Human Resources or business administration.

Requirements:

  • Select, Interview and onboard new hires
  • Conduct or assist with new hire orientation
  • Maintains accurate and up-to-date human resource files, records, and documentation
  • Answer frequently asked questions from applicants and employees relative to standard policies, benefits, hiring processes, etc.; refers more complex questions to appropriate senior-level HR staff or management
  • Maintains the integrity and confidentiality of human resource files and records.
  • Performs periodic audits of HR files and records to ensure that all required documents are collected and filed appropriately
  • Provides clerical support to the Human Resources Director
  • Uphold the company's Mission and Vision statement
  • Oversee job fairs and hiring events
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the HR director

  • Prior related office experience required
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Proficient with Google Suites
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy
  • Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn human resource information system (HRIS) and similar computer applications

Operational Responsibilities:

Provide 2nd Mile Service to guests 

Ensure the stations are cleaned according to Food Safety/BOH standards

Learn all Positions of the Restaurant to assist when needed

Execute operational responsibilities according to company standards

Other operational support for the business as needed

Availability: Full-Time or Part-Time position
