Alamo Concrete Products Company, ACP, is headquartered in San Antonio, TX with 8 Divisions throughout the Greater Central/South Texas Region. ACP produces and delivers concrete and operates Aggregate Quarries that supply concrete, aggregate (rock) and sand to the batch plants.

We are hiring a Heavy Equipment Operator for our Quarry in Bastrop, Texas. The Heavy Equipment Operator is responsible for safely operating plant equipment and collaborating with team members to ensure production goals are achieved efficiently and safely.

Duties include, but are not limited, to the following:

• Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.
• Safely and properly maneuvering equipment throughout the mine site.
• Maintain an understanding of the mechanical systems for all equipment.
• Perform inspections and document evaluations.
• Follow all PPE protocols, including proper use, care, and timely replacement.
• Perform daily pre/post trip inspections.
• Rotate between assigned equipment as required.
• Maintain the cleanliness of equipment and report any required maintenance.
• Promptly report any incidents, equipment malfunctions, or safety concerns to the supervisor.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Must be able to successfully pass a drug screen and physical examination.
• Able to follow directions and guidance from supervisors and management.
• Must be able to work overtime, weekends, and early mornings.
