Job Description

Local company seeking an experienced Heavy Diesel Mechanic with knowledge of tire maintenance and replacement.  Job Site is located in Metter, Ga Pay rate: $18-$26 per hour depending on experience  Requirements:  Experience in diagnosing and repairing heavy diesel engines, transmissions other mechanical systems Have the skills and experience to inspect, remove, replace, and repair tires on heavy equipment and commercial vehicles   Ability to perform tire balancing, rotations, and alignments as needed   Be able to maintain accurate service records and ensure compliance with safety standards Ability to conduct regular maintenance to prevent unexpected breakdowns Have the knowledge and skills to use diagnostic tools to troubleshoot engine and mechanical issues Have the ability to work independently or as part of a team to meet operational deadlines Have strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems Must have the ability to lift heavy equipment and tires as needed Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail ASE Certification is a plus (preferred but not required)    There are multiple positions available and we are looking to interview & hire as quickly as possible.
