The property also includes a vibrant clubhouse, restaurant, and event venue that serve as a centerpiece of the Troy community.
Position Overview:
Woods Fort Golf Course is seeking a dedicated and experienced Golf Course Superintendent to oversee all aspects of golf course maintenance and agronomic management. The successful candidate will take pride in providing top-quality playing conditions while leading and developing a skilled maintenance team.
Responsibilities:
Manage all turfgrass maintenance practices for greens, tees, fairways, roughs, and practice areas.
Develop and execute agronomic programs, including fertility, irrigation, and pest management.
Oversee daily maintenance operations and supervise staff scheduling, training, and performance.
Maintain and operate the irrigation system efficiently.
Manage budget, equipment maintenance, and supply inventories.
Ensure course aesthetics, playability, and environmental stewardship.
Communicate regularly with ownership and management on course conditions and project planning.
Qualifications:
Degree or certificate in turfgrass management, agronomy, horticulture, or a related field preferred.
Minimum 3–5 years of golf course maintenance experience, with supervisory experience strongly preferred.
Missouri pesticide applicator’s license (or ability to obtain).
Strong knowledge of warm- and cool-season turf management in the Midwest.
Hands-on, team-oriented leadership style and strong communication skills.
Compensation & Benefits:
$80,000.00 – 92,000.00 compensation package.
