Golf Course Superintendent – Woods Fort Golf Course 1 Country Club Drive, Troy, Missouri 63379 About Woods Fort Golf Course: Woods Fort is an established 18-hole public golf course located in the heart of Troy, Missouri.

Known for its welcoming atmosphere, scenic layout, and strong local following, the course offers a fun and well-conditioned playing experience for golfers of all skill levels. The property also includes a vibrant clubhouse, restaurant, and event venue that serve as a centerpiece of the Troy community.

Position Overview:

Woods Fort Golf Course is seeking a dedicated and experienced Golf Course Superintendent to oversee all aspects of golf course maintenance and agronomic management. The successful candidate will take pride in providing top-quality playing conditions while leading and developing a skilled maintenance team.

Responsibilities:

 Manage all turfgrass maintenance practices for greens, tees, fairways, roughs, and practice areas.

 Develop and execute agronomic programs, including fertility, irrigation, and pest management.

 Oversee daily maintenance operations and supervise staff scheduling, training, and performance.

 Maintain and operate the irrigation system efficiently.

 Manage budget, equipment maintenance, and supply inventories.

 Ensure course aesthetics, playability, and environmental stewardship.

 Communicate regularly with ownership and management on course conditions and project planning.

Qualifications:

 Degree or certificate in turfgrass management, agronomy, horticulture, or a related field preferred.

 Minimum 3–5 years of golf course maintenance experience, with supervisory experience strongly preferred.

 Missouri pesticide applicator’s license (or ability to obtain).

 Strong knowledge of warm- and cool-season turf management in the Midwest.

 Hands-on, team-oriented leadership style and strong communication skills.

Compensation & Benefits:

 $80,000.00 – 92,000.00 compensation package.
