**URGENTLY HIRING 6 SWING SHIFT GENERAL PRODUCTION WORKERS IN SANTA CRUZ, PAYING $18/hr w/ 40 hours + benefits!** **Job Description** As a General Production Worker, you will be responsible for producing and/or packing products according to specified standards. You will need to understand and follow recipes and written instructions, maintaining your work area in a clean and sanitary condition. It is essential to operate equipment safely and efficiently and work collaboratively in a team environment under GMP, safety, and company guidelines. Additionally, you will identify potential defects in products and address these issues, performing other related tasks as assigned. **Responsibilities** + Produce and/or pack product to specification. + Understand and follow recipes and written instructions. + Maintain a clean and sanitary work area. + Operate equipment safely and efficiently. + Work in a team environment under GMP, safety, and company guidelines. + Identify potential defects in products and address the issue. + Perform other related tasks and duties as assigned. **Essential Skills** + Ability to work in a fast-paced environment within a food manufacturing facility. + Capability to lift up to 50 lbs. + General production skills. + Inspection and packing expertise. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices and safe food handling. + Ability to work effectively in a team environment. + Flexibility to work in various departments and change roles as needed. **Why Work Here?** The company offers a competitive benefits package to eligible full-time employees. The facility is very clean, providing a pleasant work space. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Santa Cruz, California. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $17.50 - $17.50/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
