Job Summary
Price Benowitz LLP is seeking a full-time Family Law Paralegal to support our expanding Family Law practice. While this opportunity is being advertised in Baltimore, MD , the position is located in our Columbia, MD office and requires full-time, in-person presence.

As a Family Law Paralegal, you will work closely with supervising attorneys to support all aspects of family law matters. The role involves direct client communication, preparation of legal documents and pleadings, organization of case files, and analysis of discovery and financial records. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, proactive, and compassionate in handling sensitive client matters.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Obtain legal documents and locate absent parties as needed.
• Perform administrative and client service functions.
• Conduct basic legal research.
• Draft, prepare, and proofread legal documents, pleadings, and correspondence.
• File documents with the court and maintain organized client files.
• Manage case-related databases and discovery production.
• Maintain professional and supportive client relations.
• Provide additional legal and administrative support as assigned.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Prior Family Law Paralegal experience is required.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
• Detail-oriented, with strong multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Professional and empathetic client service approach.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Willingness to submit to a background check.
