What You Bring to the Table :
Experience in fence construction, sales, or related work (you know your way around a job site)
Ability to read and interpret blueprints without breaking a sweat
Top-tier communication and negotiation skills-you’re confident, clear, and persuasive
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Physical stamina to handle the active side of the job: walking, lifting, climbing, etc
A valid driver’s license and reliable wheels-you’ll be on the move
What You’ll Be Doing :
Taking ownership of your territory-scheduling appointments, managing travel, and jumping on bid opportunities like a pro
Visiting commercial properties to scope out the scene-measuring, analyzing, and understanding the lay of the land
Reviewing plans and drawings to figure out exactly what fence goes where (and how much it will cost)
Estimating materials, labor, equipment-if it’s part of the job, you’re pricing it out
Crafting and submitting proposals that win projects and impress clients
Building strong, lasting relationships with customers
