Elevator Technician (Service Department) Location San Antonio, TX :

We are hiring for an entry level technician with advancement opportunities.

This is an exciting and challenging opportunity to join one of the most capable technical teams in a growing industry. This position will require a candidate with exceptional technical skills, professional interpersonal communication, and a can-do attitude.

Excellent leadership and problem-solving skills are a must, as the ideal candidate will be able to develop and utilize their technical skills & abilities in order to install various types of elevators & lifts.

Essential Functions

• Service and repair residential elevators, commercial LU/LA elevators, wheelchair lifts, material handling lifts, and associated devices
• Work independently and learn to repair products independently (after training)
• Multi-task with patience and diligence
• Demonstrate and maintain a clean driving record
• Safety awareness & compliance
• Develop safety code and regulatory knowledge
• Interface with general contractors and customers directly
• All other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Required:

• Excellent mechanical and electronic skills is a must
• Knowledge of construction methods and practices
• Ability to work independently and with a team
• Excellent leadership and problem-solving skills
• Strong appetite for learning and professional development
• Familiarity with common hand and power tools
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Clean driving record

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
