Overview:

Rooted in innovation and operational excellence, we are seeking a results-driven Corporate Chef to lead menu development and cost optimization efforts across our specialty dining group.

Position Summary:

We are looking for a skilled Corporate Chef with strong experience in menu costing, culinary systems, and corporate food service operations. This individual will play a key role in developing menus that are both creative and cost-effective, supporting financial performance and client satisfaction.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and standardize recipes and menus that meet quality, nutritional, and budgetary standards.
  • Collaborate with unit managers and chefs to solve operational challenges and elevate the culinary experience.
  • Accurately calculate food costs, portion yields, and plate margins using industry-standard costing tools.
  • Utilize menu engineering and costing software (e.g., ChefTec, Culinary Software Services, FoodCo, or similar platforms).
  • Work closely with Procurement and Finance to align menu strategies with food cost targets.
  • Train culinary teams across units on standardized recipes, portion control, and best practices.
  • Monitor food trends and corporate dining expectations to ensure culinary relevance and innovation.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and regulatory guidelines.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Culinary Arts, Hospitality Management, or a related field (advanced culinary certifications a plus).
  • Proven experience as an Executive Chef or Culinary Director in a high-volume hospitality or food service environment.
  • Strong culinary creativity and innovation skills, with a demonstrated ability to develop unique and appealing menu concepts.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate culinary teams.
  • Solid understanding of food safety and sanitation principles, with a commitment to upholding industry standards.
  • Proven track record of managing food costs, budgets, and inventory effectively.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities and business needs.
