What is the opportunity?

Working in partnership with Compliance leadership and subject matter experts, the individual in this position will be primarily responsible for the development and administration of compliance training/educational programs for RBC and CNB employees, many of whom are registered representatives and investment adviser representatives.

What will you do?

  • Create, update and/or source training materials (e.g., courses, alerts, etc.) for registered colleagues with support from subject matter experts [40%]
  • Evaluate compliance training needs, and develop a training plan for periodic and ongoing Compliance education and training programs, including Firm Element and the Annual Compliance Meeting and other compliance training endeavors as needed [20%]
  • Administer the assignment and tracking of annual investment adviser representative (IAR) CE. [20%]
  • Support analysis and reporting of training metrics.[10%]
  • Respond to learner inquiries and trouble-shoot technical difficulties. [10%]

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have

  • Proficient in e-learning authoring platforms. Experience with Articulate Storyline 360 a plus
  • Adept at MS Office tools including PowerPoint and Excel

Nice-to-have

  • Undergraduate degree in Instructional Design or similar field
  • Instructional design certificate

The good-faith expected salary range for the above position is $65,000-$115,000 depending on factors including but not limited to the candidate’s experience, skills, registration status; market conditions; and business needs.  This salary range does not include other elements of total compensation, including a discretionary bonus and benefits such as a 401(k) program with company-matching contributions; health, dental, vision, life and disability insurance; and paid time-off plan.
