As a leader in Radiology, you will work in a team environment to support all modalities and Radiology business operations across the Seattle Children's enterprise. Your specific assignment will include management of one or more radiology departments. You will be responsible for sites, as well as ambulatory, hospital and hospital outpatient service types. Part of your accountability is to achieve patient experience, staff engagement, financial and quality outcomes for your specific assignments. In addition to owning a specific radiology department, you will be the operational leader of at least one non-clinical area of responsibility (related to imaging services) within the organization (examples might be: the radiology information management system, compliance, IS&T medical imaging systems, business operations, accreditation, liaison to key departments/sites, etc.). You will be expected to be the "manager on call" in a rotation with other radiology managers, and have the ability to work up to two times per month on the floor to maintain competency and skillsets as an IR/Recovery RN.
In Radiology, we believe that partnering with Radiology colleagues, with clinical departments and with support departments across the organization improves services and care delivery and promotes growth and quality. You will participate in and/or lead projects that are complex and cross-organizational.
Other Managerial tasks may include but are not limited to: Determines and provides or directs provision of patient related clinical care including related staff clinical education, simulations, and other educational activities. Collaborate with referring clinicians and clinical staff to manage, assess and enhance the provision of patient care services within the unit on a 24/7 basis to meet continuous quality improvement, customer service, programmatic growth and financial requirements supporting the mission of Seattle Children's Hospital. Develop, implement and monitor staffing plans, scheduling and staff development to meet current and anticipated needs and to maintain compliance with patient safety and regulatory requirements.
**Required Education and Experience**
Bachelor's degree or higher in Nursing from an accredited school of nursing.
Minimum of two (2) years RN experience.
Demonstrated leadership experience.
**Required Credentials**
Current Washington State or Multistate (MSL) RN license.
A copy of bachelor's degree or higher in nursing or transcripts indicating attainment of bachelor's degree or higher in nursing is to be on record with Human Resources upon hire.
Nursing or healthcare related professional board certification in a clinical specialty area or leadership on hire or must be obtained within three (3) years of hire and must be maintained thereafter. Certification must be recognized by the American Nursing Credentialing Center (ANCC) and approved by Seattle Children's.
Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers. This is a condition of hire and must be maintained at all times. Pediatric Emergency, Assessment, Recognition, and Stabilization (PEARS), or Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) will be accepted in lieu of BLS for Healthcare Providers. (Note: Employees are responsible for any costs (including time away from work) associated with obtaining PALS or PEARS certification if it is not a requirement of the position). ACLS will not be accepted as a substitute to the requirements listed above.
PALS Certification at time of hire or within 3 months of hire and must be maintained at all times thereafter. Master's of Science in Nursing (MSN).

**Compensation Range**
$129,992.00 - $194,988.00 per year
**Salary Information**
This compensation range was calculated based on full-time employment (2080 hours worked per calendar year). Offers are determined by multiple factors including equity, skills, experience, and expertise, and may vary within the range provided.
