Job Description

Our client is seeking a highly experienced and dedicated Armed Security/Chauffeur  to join a dynamic private household team in Boca Raton, Florida . This is a hands-on, active role requiring complete flexibility, discretion, and a strong service mindset. The ideal candidate will take pride in maintaining the home, supporting daily operations, and ensuring the family’s safety and comfort.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal and property security in Boca Raton and during domestic travel (approximately 5-6 months per year).
• Drive family members safely and efficiently for daily needs and travel.
• Perform hands-on household tasks, assisting with upkeep and light maintenance. 
• Run errands, assist with pet care, and support the family’s daily routines.
• Work collaboratively with a team of two other drivers and the broader household staff to ensure seamless operations and coverage.
• Provide logistical and security support while traveling with the family.

Requirements

• Former law enforcement experience strongly preferred (retired police officers encouraged to apply).
• Valid license to carry and operate as an armed security professional.
• Proven ability to balance security responsibilities with houseman and driving duties.
• Flexible and adaptable to changing schedules and work needs, including weekends, holidays, and travel.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills; must work well within a collaborative environment.
• Must love dogs and be comfortable around pets.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required.

Schedule & Work Environment

• Primarily day shifts (morning through evening), rotating among team members to provide full coverage.
• Must be available for travel and long-term commitment to the household.
